Sutton Super Seniors played the 3rd leg of their Round Robin matches against The Island

Sutton Super Seniors played the 3rd leg of our Round Robin matches yesterday - this time against The Island, who have won the competition for the last two years, and who narrowly beat us in the finals last year. Who could forget it - last match of eight matches, last hole, last gasp win for them. It still hurts.

But, for today, a big thank you to the stalwarts who donned the jersey and went out to play in what turned out to be atrocious weather!

A great result, winning 2, halving one and losing only one - overall result 2 and a half to one and a half. That gives us a total so far of 14 points.

Both matches in Sutton went to the 18th - both matches in The Island ended out the course with long walks back to the clubhouse!

I don’t have updated results for the other clubs yet so I don’t know yet where we lie in our group. I’ll update you all when I get them.

Meantime our next (and last ) match in our Group is V Jameson Links on Monday April 22nd.
